New Job Opportunity in Gorey
Position: Office Manager
A successful and thriving construction company, specialising in high end refurbishments are currently seeking an office manager to join their team.
This role will be predominately based in Gorey Office, with occasional travel to construction sites, and reports directly to the company director.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining office operations to include the purchase of materials for the company.
Responsibilities to include:
- Day to day office operation, including handling phone calls, emails and post.
- Maintain job files for projects
- Manage meetings and appointment schedules.
- Purchasing of all materials required for site, including any hire items along with coordinating deliveries.
- Reconciling purchase orders with invoices.
- Preparation of invoices for works completed or to correspond with payment certificates.
- Occasional travel to Dublin to gather project documents.
- Keeping record of daily site diaries.
- Liaising with the site foremen
- Preparing & maintaining Health and Safety files for each project.
- Managing and maintaining company fleet to include vehicle health checks, booking services, DoE etc.
- P.A. to company director
- Other duties as required by director
Qualifications required for successful candidate:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Ability to negotiate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, to include excel, word and outlook.
- Attention to detail & problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Prior experience in the construction industry an advantage but not necessary
